  15. PUBSCREEN only work when the GUI switch is used!

  17. The URL option is for AWeb-II 2.1 etc,
  18. PtPlay will take the filename in the url and use it in
  19. the save reqester.

  22. PtPlay need protracker.library, version 37.2 is included with PtPlay.
  23. ProTracker.Library is © Psilocybe Software 1995

  25. Asl.Library is needed for the save requester,
  26. that library is part of OS 2.0 and higher.

  29. Just copy protracker.library to "LIBS:" and PtPlay to "C:"

  32. PtPlay can be used as a ProTracker player for Dopus, Dirwork,
  33. AWeb, Voyager, IBrowse or any other program able to start a program
  34. with filename and pubscreen name.

  36. Thus you can get AWeb etc, to play ProTracker modules from the web.

  38. PTPlay also support the new MOD0 fileformat!
  39. The NewMOD drawer in this archive,
  40. contains all the info you need to know,
  41. plus converter utils.

  43. MOD0 is an attempt at improving the PT moduleformat,
  44. without changing the moduleformat.
  45. (Yeah! I got my self confused, for a short time that is ;-)

  48. When you use the gui, there is 4 buttons!
  49. Play, Stop & Quit, they do what they say.
  50. For additional support for AWeb etc there is a Save button.
  51. This way you can save the module from AWeb's file buffer to disk.

  61. If all goes well, you can now play 4 channel 8bit ProTracker modules,
  62. directly in AWeb, I hope many people start to use this.
  63. Wouldn't it be nice to have a techno module on a techo page? ;-)
  64. Or a fantasy module on a fantasy page? Etc etc.
  65. The modules need not be so large either.
  66. Besides, now we can show all those PC folks that the Amiga have a
  67. WEB mod player under 11 KB in size (including library ;-)
  68. And it multitask too ;-)
